FROM RESCUE TO ROYALTY

Yes, that is a diamond, o.k. rhinestone, studded name tag on a brand new hot pink collar!  Those are the gifts Pearle received in honor of becoming a permanent member of her foster family.  Maybe she should have been named Princess instead of Pearle!  Pearle now has 3 canine siblings including boston Yoda.  She was so delighted to learn that she could stay, she lept off the bed and required ice for her her sports injury.  Welcome home Queen Pearle!

Update:  Miss Pearle is a meatball thief.  She told it right off the plate of her now forever Mom and clenched her jaw around it refusing to give up her prize.  Pearle is a senior in age only but guess this old dog will have to learn a new trick - called "drop it."
