HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM BTRNC

It's the day after Christmas 2010. Most of the areas where BTRNC is active are blanketed with a powerful winter storm complete with high winds blowing blizzard snow drifts. Raleigh, North Carolina has over 9 inches of snow just as an example. The South and the East Coast got a white Christmas and then some. I bet most our members have at least one boston piled on or next to them under blankets. I do! He is completely exhausted from his big weekend of traveling.

So many things happen each year and I can't begin to hit them all or even remember them for that matter. A few memories:

Three BTRNC bostons or relatives of our bostons went missing during this holiday season and all 3 were recovered safe and sound. A Christmas miracle for their frantic families and foster families.

Peanut came into BTRNC at the age of 13 and stole her foster Mom's heart and the members who were able to share her pictures. She knew nothing but love and crossed the bridge late in 2009. We are privileged to be able to touch her life.

Santa Paws 2010 was another huge success. Here is Barney enjoying his haul.

Hope and Charity found forever homes late this year. A special needs pair who waited patiently for the right person to find them.

Maci and her puppy Aldo underwent successful heart surgery and have been restored to health. All Maci's puppies were adopted. Maci is recovering from the surgery and the stress of her litter but we know her forever home cannot be too far away.

Oscar and Willis continue to thrive in our Sanctuary and enjoyed another Christmas.

Trixie looks like a different dog than when she arrived in our care. Your donations have helped us to help her.
