SIMPLY LAYLA!

Beautiful Layla found her forever home in May. She settled right in and her new family said they could not imagine not having her in their lives.

Forgive the Boastful Boston for showing her age, but Eric Clapton recorded a very successful song named Layla. We suspect that our Layla knows this song well and she found her own answer to the first verse:

What'll you do when you get lonely
And nobody's waiting by your side?
You've been running and hiding much too long.
You know it's just your foolish pride

Our Layla's response:
I'll go find my new forever family
and lay down by their side!

Chorus:

Layla, you've got me on my knees. Layla,
I'm begging, darling please. Layla,
darling won't you ease my worried mind
Our Layla's response to her forever family:

You rescued me - get up off your knees!
Don't beg me - I will love you always!

Second verse:

I tried to give you consolation
When your old man had let you down.
Like a fool, I fell in love with you,
Turned my whole world upside down
Our Layla's response:
You gave me love, comfort and support.
I'll make sure you are never sorry for loving me!

And finally:

Let's make the best of the situation
Before I finally go insane.
Please don't say we'll never find a way
And tell me all my love's in vain.
Layla says:
You found me, we found a way and love is never in vain!

Maybe Layla heard this song in her former life and knew that she was destined to find happiness again. Good for you Layla!
